Cousins!

This week I watched my cousin's youngest child while she went to work. The kids sure had fun playing outside! I am SO glad it is getting cooler! : )

Auntie Alisha's Giraffe!

Auntie Alisha and Uncle Shane (soon-to-be) went to the Orange County Fair (CA). They played some midway games and wouldn't you know it... Alisha won a HUGE stuffed giraffe!

She gave it to Sophia, since Eva has a ton more stuffed animals.

Fun at the park...

I will admit, Daddy is the one that ends up taking the girls to the park all the time. I stay home and enjoy the time alone. However, today I decided to take the girls and let Shane rest after work.

Sophia wanted to go down the slide on her tummy. According to Daddy, she also likes to go on her tummy head first! What a dare devil! : )

I was walking up the climbing area/stairs to go down the BIG slide with Sophia and I look over to see this... Eva on the top of the jungle gym! She then yells for me to come help because she can't get down. We must have 2 dare devils in the family!

Splashing in the puddle!

Over the past 3 days, we have received 1.8 inches of rain at our house. That might not seem like a lot to some of you folks, so let me put it this way... that 1.8" of rain more than doubled the rain we had received so far this year!

After the second rainfall, we had some pretty nice puddles for the girls to play in...

I thought this picture turned out cool - I caught Eva in the act of jumping into the puddle!
