My stubborn eater

Sophia no longer wants anyone to feed her... she wants to feed herself. Here are some pics of her eating bananas, peas, baby cereal, and yogurt.

Strollers...

Eva has taught her little sister well... it is fun to push babies in strollers around the house!

On this day, Sophia pushed each stroller up to the window and then sat looking outside. I guess the babies wanted to check out the pool too : )

Ice Cream Sundaes...yummy!

If you sign up on the website for Red Robin, each family member can get a free meal and a sundae for the 2 weeks around their birthday. There was a lot going on around Eva's birthday, so we were unable to make it for her free meal. Therefore, we made sure to go for Sophia's birthday for lunch.
Like most restaurants, the staff comes over and sings a happy birthday song to the person and then gives them their sundae. Sophia enjoyed having them sing to her.

Our server also had a personal touch. She stamped in a simple birthday card and then quickly wrote Sophia's name and wished her happy birthday from the Red Robin staff. Sophia was so cute, she actually took the card and was "reading" it...

Because we had missed Eva's birthday, we purchased a sundae for her too, which she loved!

Twins

Today, while I was working out, grandma had the girls at her house. She usually changes the girls into different clothes, just in case they play in sand, get sweaty, spill, or get dog hair on them. Well, grandma bought them matching outfits...

Birthday #2

Sophia's birthday party #2 was fun since my cousin and her children were able to be there. Even though the water was still a tad cold, the kids wanted to swim!

Sophia really enjoys pushing her big dump truck around the yard. She received that at the first party we had for her.

Eva returned the favor and gave Sophia a push for once! The dump truck was a b-day gift for Sophia.

We ended up having 2 birthday parties for Sophia since mostly everyone wasn't able to make it to the first one. Here are some pictures from the first party, where Grandma K (Shane's Mom, Kathy) was here for.

She wasn't quite sure about the cupcake, however...

Eva was a big help opening presents, whether or not she was needed.
