Look at this!

While I go to the gym, my Mom SO THANKFULLY watches the girls. Sometimes she comes to our house, or they go to the library, or I bring the girls to her house. Today, at my parents' house, Sophia was playing in the mess that Eva made. She is so excited to show us a flower! : )

Eva likes to be pushed on a ride-on and Sophia loves to push things and walk! YIPPEE!!

I can get into bed myself!

Okay, so it may be a doll bed, but it sure is fun to climb in and out of! Sophia had so much fun with Eva's doll bed she received for her birthday!

Water fun!

On Eva's actual birthday, my Mom, Eva, Sophia and I went to a park that has a man-made lake with many picnic tables. We had a picnic and watched the people who were fishing for the various species of fish that are stocked in the lake.

We could actually see some fish swimming near us. Here Eva is checking out the little minnow fish.

Since Sophia wasn't walking yet, she stayed in her stroller. There were also MANY pigeons near the picnic areas. Getting all that food that we humans toss them! : )

At this park is also a very large play area, so Eva enjoyed climbing and sliding and riding the animals!

Again, Sophia was kept in her stroller : ( Can't you just see the longing to go play?

Well, that was okay because there is also a GREAT splash mat to play in! Sophia LOVED, LOVED, LOVED playing in the water : )

The rubber was a little rough, so Sophia resorted to bear walking...

As you can see, some of the animals would squirt water out and there was some squirting from the ground. Sophia would bear walk through the sprays. However, Eva wasn't too sure...

Eva didn't go out in the middle much. I don't think she wanted to get sprayed.

Happy Birthday Eva!

Eva had quite the birthday party this year! It is so much fun watching her grow older, and yet so sad! My first baby is three years old!
Although the water was a TAD cold (brr...), the kids wanted to swim, so here are some swimming pictures... as you can see, there wasn't much "swimming".

The theme of the party was Curious George - Eva loves those books! We had 2 surprise guests show up! Yes, George and his friend, the man with the yellow hat, came to Eva's party! We weren't even expecting them!!

The beautiful Arizona April days!

Today we enjoyed some beautiful weather outside. It has been so nice lately! What fun to sit outside while the girls play.

Easter!

This year we helped Eva decorate Easter eggs for the first time. It was a lot of fun and we only had 2 egg casualties! : ) Poor Sophia, she is too young and only got to watch - doesn't she look excited! ha ha

The big day...Daddy took Eva and Sophia to the park while the "Easter Bunny" (mommy, of course) hid the Easter eggs with the clues. This year, there was a clue on each egg for Eva to follow. For example, the first one was "I am the tree where you pick oranges" and she then had to find the egg by our orange tree. It took her a few eggs to catch on, but when she did she was running to the next location! : ) My Dad had done the same thing when my sister and I were younger and I remembered how much fun it was!
