Our little girls...

Today, Eva climbed the side of Sophia's crib to catch a glimpse of her little sister. What a blessing from God our two little girls are!!

What's in a word??

MOTHER

That word can invoke so many emotions.

For the Moms not near us and for those no longer with us, there may be sadness.

For those Moms we get to see often, there is gladness.

For the new Moms, there is wonder, happiness, and sometimes fear.

And for the Moms that are blessed to have a second child, or third, or more...
there is more joy, gratitude, and LOVE than can be described!

May all you Mothers have a most wonderous Mother's Day!

Mini Chernobyl

Once upon a time, there was a happy little girl named Evangeline. She loved the pool and could swim all day, even if the water is not that warm! The mean Daddy told her that it was time to go in for supper and made her get out of the fun pool. The happy little girl was no longer happy - she had a major meltdown!!!

A special delivery!!!

Sophia was born on Tuesday, May 6th at 1:50 am. She was 7 lbs, 14 oz and 21 inches long.

Monday night at 10:30 pm I started having contractions that were 8 minutes apart. Up until then I hadn't had any regular contractions and was a week past due. Grandma and Grandpa came over at 12:00 am, and Grandpa slept at our house with Eva. Grandma came with to the hospital to help me. We arrived at the hospital at 12:30 am and Sophia came very quickly!!! I had no pain medication, and delivered naturally.

We forgot our USB cord, so pictures will be coming.
